We were thrilled to announce that Reeds Rebels girls secured support for the season from IG Group. IG Group share the clubs, and our passion for enhancing diversity in sports and growing the girls game within the wider community.
As part of the Company’s (https://www.iggroup.com/our-commitment-sustainability/our-products), they offer community grants aimed at having a positive impact on local communities.
The grant includes a new distinctive playing kit for all girl members and the development of programs to help attract new girls to the club from the wider community and to build links with local schools. This will help ensure that rugby at Reeds is truly a game for all.
This sponsorship was facilitated by, Jersey For All co-founder, Alayna Francis, a senior executive at IG Group, marking its first grant within England.
The new kit was delivered in December to lots of smiling faces.
